→adoption can't think of a character to make, but still want a new one? or would you like a character that is already a part of a plot, like a puppy? members can post any unwanted or unplayed characters here, so others can have a chance at playing them.
→biographies members are to make a thread here that indexes all of their characters so that they are easily findable by other players. make sure you keep it as up-to-date as you can, as that is most helpful!
→edge of the world the beach surrounds the entire island, going as far as the eye can see in both directions before gently curving around to meet on the other side. the sands are usually warm and inviting, and much cleaner than most beaches elsewhere. the water is crystal clear and a beautiful shade of aquamarine all the way to the horizon. when the water goes out far enough, expansive tide pools can be found brimming with sea-life and activity. when fully in, the ocean only leaves a few feet of sand uncovered all the way around the island - making it hard to travel on. a few docks reach all the way across the sand into the deeper water, allowing the few human inhabitants access to the resources. there are even, occasionally, unguarded boats left tied up to the docks. overall, the beach is a simple paradise left almost wholly unmarred by unnatural presences.

→earth meets sky reaching high into the clouds above, goliath mountains stand monumentally in the direct center of the island. there is nowhere you can go on the island that these huge peaks are not visible. the base of the range is littered with small caves, leaving perfect living spaces for all manner of life. unfortunately, the summits are completely unreachable by anyone - the air around them so thin that it can't even support plant life, let alone anything larger than grass. snow reaches down the sides, and if one were to climb to it they'd find a constant winter could be had. at the foot of the mountains there are lakes and waterfalls where runoff from the top has pooled into icy-cold reserves that are reachable by all.

blarg! well. the site has come to a bit of a stand-still, but I'll slowly be chiseling away at the work. I'm not going to give up on this site, like I have so very many others. it won't matter how much work this takes, or how long it'll take me to get there - I'm determined to bring something good to fruition.
